Post-Game Talk: Jets 4 - Blues 3 in a SO

Good first game back. Nice to set that win record.

Glad to see Comrie stringing some wins together now. He played well.

I thought outside Pionk and his penalties the defense played well.

I liked Ville's game. He was playing sound defense and moving the puck well.

Stanley played a solid simple game and was effective. I liked that he was showing more poise with the puck.

Millet, Snerg and DeMelo all solid.

Top line with a typical high event game. Vilardi is playing excellent hockey and is going to get paid this summer. He seems to have found a home here, let's hope he commits.

Second line continues to play good hockey. Cole continues to rack up the points. Not really sure you mess with this trio.

Lowry showed a bit of rust but otherwise was good, as was Nino. I'd be looking to upgrade appelton myself. He hasn't been that great for a while now. If we can get a Nino caliber player that might put that line over the top.

Fourth line was fine.

Ugly ugly win, but it’s a win

Jets had bad skating, bad passing, bad gas tanks, bad defensive play, one of the worst games they played all year, but we still win.

Ok, we need to get back into pre break form bc tonight was ugly

I actually didn’t think they were that bad. Neither team was that sharp, as expected, but I thought we pretty thoroughly controlled the game

Comrie can play every 3rd game … give Helly the rest to gear up for the playoffs.
Nice to see the Jets battle through the rust and interference which the refs refused to call and come up with a win.
I actually didn't mind the refs not calling penalties … getting the Jets ready for the playoffs. They are going to have to battle through some BS officiating and they passed the test tonight.

I thought Comms was really good and yeah that double minor was borderline criminal, Jets said f*** that though and made the refs pay only for KFC and Comms to completely bone those dirty refs in the shootout.

3/5 Skeletons tonight, Comrie played well enough and is more than a capable back up, Vilardi scoring goals, Nik good and bad, Samberg lots of minutes of very good play. KFC snipes the SO goal. 3rd D pairing was an adventure. Joshua get better fast. Captain back, needs some games, 4th line played well would be even better with Barron. Wining ugly gets you more points than losing pretty. What a time to be a Jets fan.

I started the game with a good modicum of calm.

I watched the shoot out with a heart rate of 110, significant sympathetic outflow, and a peak systolic pressure of (guessing) ~ 180 mm Hg. Lovely to beat the blues and the refs.
