JAD looked like a workhorse in his early stint so im fine with this callup. Dude was injured to start the year and missed a pretty big opportunity so if he slots in im sure he'll be fierce

Jets odds of winning the central are 82.9 now which is weird since their schedule is a lot tougher than the Stars.

No kidding ... I love Paul Edmonds excitement on Jets goals.
Perfetti did this move a few games ago too but the goalie made the save or he missed the net I can't remember but nobody remembers if you don't score.

I wish Corus did the tv for the Jets. Less Sawyer. More Edmonds. Timing radio delay with tv is probably the perfect balance.

Why do some people say this like it's a bad thing ? Take out every team's best player and you can say the exact same thing about those teams. We aren't getting out shot or outplayed every game with Helly standing on his head getting us wins . And ya you are right we are better than good ,we are the best team in the entire league.

I don't think it is said as a bad thing. It is said to reinforce Helle for Hart.

I wonder if good d hurts our star players point totals as we have to push for offense less.

I think not because we have to push for offense less but simply because it is team D. The offensive players are sacrificing some offense for D. Though that contradicts my belief that team D leads to more scoring (we have the puck more).

If the Jets had a bigger lead on Dallas I'm pretty sure some Moose players would be playing in the lineup already for a game or two. Call ups always seem to be a lot of energy in their first game. It would not surprise if the Jets bring up Salomonsson and play him in the last game or 2 of the season.

That's why I like a player like Gus at this time of year. He's got the fresh legs without the injuries.

Salomonsson should make the playoff roster. Lambert too, for lack of skilled competition on the Moose with injuries.. JAD had a good camp nice to see him make his way back up. Wouldn't surprise me if he got a game on the road trip.

As long as Dallas keeps pushing you play your playoff roster. Because 1st in the West is the easiest matchup, the true playoff battle right now.

I was just looking at how the top players play for teams that are not at the top of the standings and have suspect goaltending. Avs, Edm, Toronto, The only star who plays with a good goalie is Kucherov.

I mean Stan wasn't in the right place on that play, but, it's interesting Miller completely got a pass.

Stan was closing the gap to force the dump. His problem was that he didn't have support in the middle of the ice. I find that happens a little with him when he steps up like that... just a bad read

Sure... but that's not the first time he's pulled off that deke.
The Vancouver fans seemed quite forgiving of that play.
Apparently he's played above his cap hit for them based on their comments.

I think it's just that they are headed out on the road.
Now that I look the Moose were on the road this weekend so there goes that theory.
I thought if both teams are in Winnipeg that they could just do a last second call up if needed.

I can listen to Paul and Mitchell call hockey all day. Love listening to the games when driving. There's energy in the commentary. Analysis isn't a monologue rant. Sawyer understands the details it's just the way he presents them that are grating.

Robertson will never call a game as well as Dennis Beyak.

Right now Jets fans should be hoping Canadiens get in because that would eliminate Garry Galley from their 1st round colour commentary of the opposing team.

Home games ... the Jets would just make a phone call and the player would be at the rink within the hour.
Being on the road is a different story so they bring the extras with the team.

Long story but last season when the Jets playoffs ended the same way it always does I called a meeting with myself decided I needed to make some changes to my relationship with the Jets.
