Last year the team was 11-6-1 at Turkey Day this year 11-5-2 but this team has a different feel to it so hopefully no new year swoon.
Agreed. I like the chances of this team maintaining their play. They are much deeper and more balanced than last season.Last year the team was 11-6-1 at Turkey Day this year 11-5-2 but this team has a different feel to it so hopefully no new year swoon.
Yes, and I think @surixon noted this as well.Just went went back and watched the replays of the goals. Right now they are giving Connor credit for an assist on Scheifele's goal, but it was actually Perfetti. Not that it matters in terms of the win, just thought I would make mention.
I must of missed that in the bouncing around in the post game thread. I bounce from here to NHL.com for standings and highlights, to Natural Stats Trick for underlying numbers, to the occasional podcast, for biased opinion. I like to soak myself in a winYes, and I think @surixon noted this as well.

Go on, gyet.Fun stuff.
Big 2 points, we hung around like a bad stink. Good on the boys for not giving up the 3rd goal. Bucky kept us in there, he’d sure look good with an oil drop on his chest, no? We’re a bit of a bogey team for Tampa Bay, I never rule us out against the Bolts. Gives us some leeway to drop a game on this road trip. If we can take 5-6 points out of 8 that would be exceptional. We’re out tanning hides in the Sunshine State.
Must be over .900 now.Helly put up a .935 tonight.
No one looks good in that horrid orange.no, he would look awful...
He's pretty good.Helly put up a .935 tonight.
He's similar to Stastny. He processes the game well. At 2 million dollars a year he's a steal.Namestnikov is not flashy but he's really smart... really beginning to like his play.
Agree... he's *very* much like Stastny. He's similar to Stastny. He processes the game well. At 2 million dollars a year he's a steal.
He just seems to be missing that last finishing bit but he's been excellentAgree... he's *very* much like Stastny.
On its way to .920+Must be over .900 now.
That’s a good one!I’ll break out the 14 year Tomatin next.
Yes, and I think @surixon noted this as well.
Highland scotches are my favourite. That’s a good one!
That's fine considering we're paying him less. He's a net positive when he's on the ice and that's a nice situation to be in. A lot of teams pay more for a player to be a net negative. He just seems to be missing that last finishing bit but he's been excellent
