I knew my love of Pionk was justified - just love that guy. I really hope (and expect) him to re-sign here.

One of two things is happening with Snerg right now: either his foot is bothering him, or his conditioning is catching up with him. He's looked atrocious the past 2.

I really wish Nik had more clutch in his game. I'd love to see him rise to the occasion when the Jets need a goal and just grab the game by the throat. I can't complain too much, he made some really amazing second effort plays that had really positive outcomes.

The Perfetti drought is getting kind of comical now. I don't know if he needs to see a psychiatrist or something but he's not cutting it as a scoring forward. We need way more production from him.

I thought Barron was really impressive last night. He was extremely strong and played the part of Lowry as well as you could hope.

Stan had a really nice game - I didn't feel like he was exposed by the Avs speed or size at all last night, made good decisions with the puck and even had a nice little rush. I really hope he focuses on shooting more - he's got a cannon and a knack for actually getting it on net.

Appleton didn't look like he missed a second of playing time. He helps mitigate the loss of Lowry just a little bit. I'd like to see him move up the lineup a bit.

I'd love for Chevy to surprise us and beat the TDL rush to pick up a center.

Fleury wasn't great - but he hasn't played much so he gets a pass.

How long can Coghlan be loaned to the Moose without having to come back? Would hate to lose him.
I'd say its Stan and Miller as our 3rd pairing.
Although, if we really are serious about the Cup, they should be our 4th pairing.
Bring in 2 better D.

I think we need to try perfetti at center. He's not playing badly. But he's not finding the net or making plays down low. He might be better suited in the middle.

Heinola is clearly the more skilled LD among Fleury and Stan, but they really covet size because we are a small team without them. I favor skill, but appreciate size when it's a good player.

Heinola was playing really well before he sat
He was playing okay in sheltered minutes, not great, his game is no better than Miller or Fleury’s, he really lacks the size to play in the NHL!

so toni might have been sent down, wonder if lambert is coming up or something else in the works
I wouldn't be surprised if it is Mason Shaw who gets called up. Lomberg is a pest. Xhekaj, Frederic and Wilson are on next week's schedule. That would be the scrappiest guy the Jets can call up to replace Lowry in some way.
