Post-Game Talk: Jets 2- Sharks 1

For some reason, the Sharks always play the Jets tough. Being unable to bury their chances kind of does that for them. Dominant 12 minutes in the first, and then a much more even game the remainder of the way. Sharks are a better team than their record would indicate, but it's a lack of skill, not will. Glad to see Vilardi, Ehlers, and Fefe reunited.

Sharks are a fast team, whatever anyone says. It kind of disrupts our “chaos” playbook. But nonetheless, we are a grinding team, and that epoxy will keep us going far into the playoffs. We’ll need that, especially to keep the games close. Iafallo nearly had one or two tonight. Nice. We looked a bit gassed and out of our time zone, but hey..at least I predicted the Sharks at only one goal. Now If I could just adjust our goals better. Blackwood is actually a “Helly-lite”. Good for the Sharks, they’re underrated.
Also Nice of the Av’s to help us pull ahead of the Starfish..That doesn’t hurt one bit.
Helly is a rock.

Jets win despite Paul Maurice’s old friend François St-Laurent reffing the game, yes he still sucks and yes he still hates the Jets judging by the weak calls he made on 44 and 55 despite not making calls on SJ for worse infractions!
I almost hâte him more than Hartman!

The last period almost made up for sitting upright through the first two periods. This one was way more clench-worthy than it needed to be. Can't believe how inept our guys are at hitting an open net. But as everyone is saying, it might not have been a masterpiece but we got two points. Next April, total points counts, how you got them doesn't.

3/5 Stickmen tonight after it's the lowly Sharks, for the most part the Jets controlled the game, Barron continues to impress, Pionk with a great game, PP Goal, All Star Helle with saves, 4th line still playing well, Scheifele needs to snap out of it. Team keeps collecting points and are on a serious heater. Glad we don't have to go to San Jose again this year, the Ducks are next in their sights.

Not the greatest of the games but good 2 points. Poor puck management by 55 in the neutral and offensive zone, killed a lot of their own plays.

Lowry line looks like they are back. A string of good games lately. Good to see.

Glad that PP got one.

PK looks atrocious. This is literally the reincarnation of Maurice PK from 2018-2022. Today they were more interested in blocking shots than making things difficult for the PP. This comes after Bones' comments a few games ago about blocking shots, seems like the coaches are incentivizing the wrong thing on the PK.

PK needs a little more aggression, damn right!

Namestnikov needs some shots on net practice!! There were lots of chances for other guys too. Liked how Smitty played up and gave it some shots. MoJo kept it pumping, but couldn’t buy a goal. As long as D plays up, we’ll get there. Dillon was superb.
