What an impressive season so far.

I thought we could have a nice bounceback from a new coach but this is beyond what I could have even dreamed of. 1st in the West more than halfway through the season.

Was at the game. Thought we controlled it. Yotes just clogged up the ice and flipped it out of the zone most of the night. Probably should have had a couple more PPs. No wonder they play in a 5000 seat arena because they play some shitty hockey

I love how no one is talking about the Jets on the boards. Keep it sneaky-sneaky. I know, I know their record is inflated because they’re in the West.

Clench o matic, Jets had the best chances, traded posts, Helly lifts team, Dubois is well hated by most coyotes, Ehlers sets several land speed records, Wheelhaus with a beauty game winner.

Sounds like we did enough to win, but are still a little ways yet to get back to full speed. As long as we keep improving a little at a time I'm happy!

2/5 Hammers tonight, well we got 2 points but I have to say I was not thrilled that we could not put this team away earlier in the game, they played last night and are a losing streak and it was a nail biter. Anyways PLD was a beast as was noted by many, Helle made some huge saves late what else is new, defense was okay, Perfetti has eyes in the back of his head and oh the Jets are on top of the Western Conference which begs the question have we been here before?

Old school blindspot by the coaches imo. They even had him out for Fly to closeout the game.

I like most of what Bowness has brought but he still like all coaches he does some things I don't like.

Same. Some of the player utilization choices leave me bewildered but what the hell - the outcomes so far have not been a disaster.... . I continue to hold my breath when, like again tonight, he puts Connor/Scheifele/Wheeler out there in the dying moments of a game where we are up 1 measly goal with the opponent having an empty net and six attackers.

Agreed, he put Saku who has some of the worst metrics on the team out there for Cole.

He also hasn’t switched Wheeler and Ehlers yet. That second line needs a sniper and Pld and kc need someone willing to do the grunt work.

Yeah, you can see that Cole is disheartened whenever Bones elects to essentially bench him in the last 5 minutes or so of close games. Hard to understand why Bones doesn`t trust him in these situations. I think if anything the kid is more responsible defensively than either of his linemates.

Fell asleep sometime in the third period, so I had to look at the title of the PGT to see who won... WE DID! From what I saw, the game could have gone either way, but when you can outscore your opponent and win, that's always good. I give it four Wile E. Coyote fails out of five...

No need too complain or should I say worry.
You may not like Bowness's' decisions but its working right?
The players are responding and that's all you can ask for. He does have the Jets at #1 seed in the Western Conference so I think he knows what he is doing.
Maybe its time to let go of the past 2 seasons and think positive.
