I hope so. He needs to play regularly to gain momentum with the way his last few years went. There's a lot there that the team should be happy about seeing flashes of lately and even then, he's shown this pest side of him that's been great.

I don't think he's a lock as frequently their rosters are already decided before camp even starts and they might just think it's less likely he gets claimed off waivers than Poulin or Puustinen. Or they may just not like that he doesn't kill penalties or something. I'd say he has a 90% chance of staying with the team and maybe a 75% chance of being in the opening night line-up.
