Considering Valimaki hasn't been an NHL player since his injury I wouldn't gamble on him. If the flames want puljujarvi you have to give up something you don't want to. 0 incentive for us to give our rivals a decent player with huge potential for a bust.

Valimaki was usurped by Kylington else he would have been playing. The man has talent, but his development was delayed due to injury.

Both players are first round picks, both could perhaps use a change of venue. If I were Calgary and interested in picking up Puljujarvi, I wouldn't be offering much more.
