Jesper Bratt vs Nico Hischier

This is by no means a knock on Bratt, but I don’t think there are many Devils fans who would take Bratt over Hischier.
I'm a big Nico fan but Bratt is just too good of an offensive catalyst.
Canucks could really use either, but with Miller gone, Hischier would be the better fit. It’s easier to fill out the wings imo. In a vacuum, maybe Bratt.

I'd rather have the player trusted to shut down the opposing teams best players. Bratt is great and all but this is easily Nico

I'm a NJ fan and if someone came to me & said I can only have 1, it's Nico Hischier. Bratt is a phenomenal player but I'm viewing it like this. Losing Bratt would suck but realistically I can probably land a big time winger either through trade or free agency. If we lost Nico good luck replacing that. Players like Nico are NEVER traded & it's extremely rare for someone like him to be a free agent. He is every GM/Coach's wet dream center. He does everything right. Any task you give him he will do it 100%. He's the actual definition of a perfect hockey player.
Yeah, there aren't many all situations Centers in the league.
