The Red Wings Gordie Howe jersey is iconic, thanks in large part to it being worn by Cameron in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

While I appreciate the Red Wings getting some attention from the movie - that jersey looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff.

Let me start by saying the current Caps jerseys are horrible and their retro 80s are gorgeous!

And IMHO there’s no one better to rep that sweet sweater than Al Iafrate and his ‘skullet’.

It nearly lined up perfectly with his time in Boston. That jersey started a year or two before he was drafted, and the last year of it was the year he got traded. When Joe left the jersey left too.
