The Ducks already brought back the old Mighty Ducks logo before last year. Kinda.

seriously the burger schlanger jersey is horrible.

- it's gotta be a purple and gold variation.

kings currently where the silver, black and white. although, i'd be okay with the chevy era...i'd like to see a real heritage jersey from the 60's or 70's.

ducks can go for 90's.

definitely no on the Dodgers jersey (Angels fan), but they will likely be worn at some point during the event.

i heard the ice will be better than Staples.

We're probably not going to wear:
- Currents (home plate)
- Purple vintage throwbacks
- Purple/silver/black era
- Burger king

So besides those, if we go with ones we've worn before, that leaves us with:
- Gold vintage
- Purple/gold/white 80's
- Gretzky era

I can honestly see us using any one of these...unless they design a whole new one. I personally would love to see us in the Gretzky era jerseys. Specifically the ones where we had the extra space between the back number and the outline. Those were sharp. Plus, we would just need to switch out the jerseys since our helmets, socks, and pants are the same.

Otherwise if they design a whole new fake "vintage" style jersey, I just hope it's a good one.

Kings should wear ponchos! It would be epic! Jeff Carter flying down the ice at Dodger Stadium with his poncho flapping in the wind!

Pretty sure this is a no go for the Ducks... Doesn't Disney still own that logo and that's why they had to change when the team got sold?
No. Owners don't own the logo copyrights, the NHL does. Even if it didn't, it would be routine to transfer all intellectual property with the team sale.

There have been issues with the Ducks in the past since the team was based on an independent intellectual property created by Disney. They had to drop the Mighty from the name when Disney sold the team for example as Disney maintained the rights to "The Mighty Ducks." There's also all the issues for years and years with the Hartford Whalers. For years the state of Connecticut owned naming rights and refused to sell it to the NHL, which led to the Whalers never being included in merchandise or any of the video games for a number of years. So yes it in fact happens... Most times it's as routine as you say but in some cases it's not.

Not going to happen, but just an idea...

nice concept but it's an NHL game, not a MLB game. none of the previous Winter Classic games featured anything about the baseball teams in the previous stadiums.

i say roll the clock back to 1993 and go with the Chevy logo vs Ducks eggplant

Don't most teams come up with a new unique jersey design specifically for the winter classic? I don't think they'll just make replicas of old uniforms.

Yes, but most typically have influences from past jerseys.
I want one that is predominantly gold.

That'd be weird for Angels/Kings fans. Rooting for the team that wears Dodger jerseys and rooting against the team that wears Angels jerseys.

BTW, do the Ducks and Angels do business together? I know their' flagship radio station is the same, but do they promote each other (like Dodgers Night at Staples Center and Kings Night at Dodger Stadium)?
