Unrelated, what’s up with every broadcast team waxing lyrical about how the Caps have started games. Carolina “took a couple punches” before responding with a goal? We’ve set the standard so high that if we’re not holding teams to 10+ minute stretches with no shots on goal we’re clearly under the kosh.

I mean if they want to say something nice about them the last two games about the only things you could say would be “they almost scored a few times in the first” or “they almost came back and tied it”
