If Andersen wasnt so lucky this could have been a different game.

Poorly officiated game, the Canes played very well.

Stanley sure didn't have the type of game that instills confidence.

I just really don't love any of our bottom pair LD options at this point. Maybe Fleury would work with Schenn?

Jets maybe could have won that game had that first goal not happened.
The thing I notice most about Stan is his lack of recovery when he misses a puck. How many times has a player blown past him and left him in the dust?

Stan never instills confidence and yeah our bottom pairing LD options are bleak, still cannot believe we didn't pick up another one at the TDL.

Heinola Schenn in for the Rags?

The Canes played very well through most of the game 200 feet...

The Jets I thought started the game well... carried on the game through the 2nd period...

The Jets got no bounces... Anderson was down and out a good number of times... and no Jet could get a handle...

Stanley sucks...

The 3rd period the Jets were out of gas after 4 games in 6 nights...

They played better than I thought they would...

Time to come home...
........
See all my homeys back in Winnipeg Tuesday...

Go Jets Go !!!

I just don't get why he hasn't figured out that his pivots and closing speed are his biggest weakness. Plenty of guys who aren't strong in that area are successful because they read the play much better.

I think when he plays within himself he can be pretty effective.

Playing Stan instead of Fluery or Heinola and whoever is next on the Moose is a crime.

With Schenn coming in, we have a physical guy. No need to handicap ourselves.

Anyone on the left and Schenn will be an upgrade

The first goal, he activated and held the puck in on the line. It was the right read, he had support high

The guy that got behind him was Miller's... in that situation, Miller should have gone to the puck carrier immediately and let stan track back in the middle of the ice... there was no other Canes player to make that a 2-1, so i don't know why Miller delayed going to the puck for so long

The blame you can assess to Stan on that goal is limited to the fact that he turned the puck over at the offensive blue line (aka "Pulled an Ehlers").

I actually blame Stan more for the second one than the first. Weak play up the boards, weak featherduster after the turnover, and then I don't think he moved his feet from that point forward

Stanley is closer to being a top 4 D than a press box D on this team.
