Teams have games like today, swimming upstream, nothing goes right. Full marks to the Canes they played like they wanted the game right from the beginning. Still the road trip was not to bad.

Bad f***ing game. Bottom pair were terrible, some overpassing and overthinking of plays, Andersen playing unreal on some key sequences, and just some... bad decisions for special teams. I can accept Andersen being the reason the Canes won, but not the 2 goals that Jankowski scored. Be better, you f***weasels.

At least Trudeau's gone. Carney era begins.

Can’t be upset with this game … zhit happens.
Apple jumps out of the way not to get hit by the puck … he gets a double minor.
Stankoven jumps out of the way not to get hit by the puck … it hits his stick and it’s a goal.

Watched the second half... not great - reminded me of the days when a hard forecheck makes the jets crumble

Pionk had a bad game... he hasnt looked good since the break

Scheif has to shut up and focus

Refs were pretty iffy

Stan is fine for a guy that trails the play on every shift

Ehlers, tanev and apples applying pressure. .

Jarvis is a lot better than perfetti. Sorry to say

I dont see our structure anymore... maybe this game got away from us but we are not bouncing back like we did pre four nations

Intentional or not that Staal hit on Vladdy was a blind side head shot

I can only imagine how bad the results of that bottom pair might get if/when Stan gets paired with Schenn with not much footspeed or puck moving ability on that pairing. Clearly looked out of depth today.

Intentional or not that Staal hit on Vladdy was a blind side head shot

idk how that wasn't even reviewed... but a stick lift was a penalty this game while 3 crosschecks got nothing... you can see why scheifele was frustrated with the reffing, unless you didn't watch the whole game...

Schenn has hockey IQ and experience to compensate for his speed but I don’t expect Schenn pairing with Stanley for the playoffs.

Pretty even game, Jarvis is impressive.

Staal hit should have been reviewed for a major.

Too many penalties and not enough goals pretty much sums up the game. Still can't login on my laptop, so this all sucks. I give this game two "Sheriff Roscoe's" out of five...
