When does Rantanen get his fine for the dive over the weekend?

Everyone (seemingly) has a problem with in-game officiating, DOPS, and everything the NHL does in terms of rules enforcement. Yet, when a player of a rival team gets fined for repeated embellishment, then the NHL got it right.

Seems to me that fandom-based bias here is waaaay worse than any NHL official or DOPS ruling.

Cant say I've ever seen anyone fined for embellishment before.
Warning for first offense and fines start with 2nd offense and move up with each additional offense. There is normally a few fines every year, pretty consistent.

Diving is the cost of doing business in the nhl today , it allows the officials to have better control of the game management style of applying rules . Some nights it’s a dive, other nights it’s a penalty. All depends on whose turn it is on the PP at that moment, and if the refs are close to hitting their parlay.

I haven't reviewed this instance of multiple dives, but Skinner has been falling down for little reason a very noticeable amount this season.

Wonder if Stutzle filed the complaint that led to this.

My personal crusade is that embellishment should not be eligible for coincidental minors and that it would wipe out the other penalty. If the ref sees a hook but the guy who got hooked dives, only the diver would get a penalty. Immediate negative consequences for diving is the only way to clean it up.
