The only Sabres players that had acceptable gong songs were Connor Clifton, Henri Jokiharju, Tyson Jost, Casey Mittelstadt and JJ Peterka. The other players should be thrown into the sun for their horrific choices.

Even though we didn't hear it much.....what they used for Olofsson's goal song was catchy as hell and fun to listen to.

Would Buffalo give up 11 for a team to take Skinner 0% retained?
I'd much rather retain at the full 50% and give up skinner plus a lesser prospect (or take on another contract from the other team that they don't want, but Buffalo could see as useful).

That way it's much easier for the future team to take him on and could fit on more than just a handful of teams. What team would take on Skinner for 3 years at 9 million per for ages 32-34 seasons? Not mnay teams can even do that fiscally.

Problem is the no movement clause. If they can convince skinner to waive it by telling him hey, we are moving you to a playoff team, you'll make more than if we buy you out, etc.

I believe there is no way they would attach 11 to move him. They would just buy out in that case

Gonna be a nice add for some team on a cheap 1 year deal. Hopefully the Oilers. Would be a smart move by Skinner to cash in after a year with McDrai while still getting paid from the buyout. GMs have the memory of goldfish and some team will give him a big 6M+ contract the following year if he can put up a 25-30 goal 60 point season.
