He absolutely sucks.

He only got one goal last night. What's up with that? He got three the previous night.

So inconsistent.
 
He has peaked! Trade him for a prospect and a pick! I hear Columbus has some good ones.

Carter + Richards = AWESOME! Still can't understand why the Flyers would give up on these two.

I'm guessing Prongers massive ego was causing problems.

I think the owner had more of a say, than Pronger.

Richards did an interview at his house with Cabby, and he said the whole Pronger stuff is overblown.

Just like the off the ice stuff was, it's garbage reporting by so called reporters.

I think Carter was a victim of the cap, because the Flyers wanted to/had to bring in a goalie. If they're breaking up the twins, might as well trade the other guy who signed a lifetime contract to be a Flyer. It didn't hurt that they got an offer of Schenn and Simmonds for him, two guys that I didn't think Lombardi would ever get rid of, let alone in the same deal.

The Flyers are a team that just does that. They go big, good or bad. They're not an organization that nibbles around the edges of their roster most of the time. They'll change things up whenever they feel the need.

You rarely see a coach call out a player from another team. But Barry Trotz did it tonight at Jeff Carter. “He got his three goals and that was enough,” Trotz said. Ouch. Carter fired four shots on goal in the first period — when he got his hat trick — and didn’t have one shot on goal the rest of the game — though he did hit a post in the second.

I am wondering how ol' Barry feels about calling Carter out now? Do you think Nashville has a target on it's back every time it will see Carter and the Kings? That quote is kind of brutal to go against a player who has collected a hat trick against your team in one period. :/
 
****ing Carter sucks. Took him almost two full periods before he scored.
 
Been a Flyers fan forever and been on the boards for almost 4 years now. Always loved Jeff Carter and Mike Richards. But Flyers fans are sometimes irrational and bitter. Unfortunately for Flyers fans its all about winning right now. I always thought Carter was a good defensive player who used his size defensively very well. He is an outstanding skater who skated so easily it looked as if he wasn't even trying. This was apparently a problem for Flyers fans and deemed him lazy where I believe he was just so gifted as a skater it only appeared to some he was lazy.

He is never going to be an elite playmaker but he is a sniper, a big center, and a defensive one. Thats pretty damn good if you ask me. Love seeing him among the league leader in goals!

I've seen many Flyers fans say this. For example compared to Richards, Carter is awesome skater. Richards isn't that fast and it looks like he's going all out there, when Carter is just floating. Same thing with other great skaters, Karlsson etc.
 
I miss our defensive black hole. I'm going to watch that playoff game where the sharks scored 5 goals at staples. That was one of jacks best games in a kings uniform. #welcomejackback
 
Do we have any other young 2nd and 3rd liners for trade? Package em up with next year's 1st for Giroux!

I heard he drank some alcohol once, only scores in blowouts (and Pittsburgh) and Pronger thinks he's too...French.
