How to destroy a Presidents Trophy, eastern conference final team in 3 steps:

Step 1: waive a well respected vet with a handshake agreement with San Jose to claim him to circumvent his no-trade
Step 2: try but fail to trade your captain because he sucks
Step 3: start camp with egg on your face, your captain checked out and your remaining vets pissed off

Bravo, Drury. Bravo.

This team is completely checked out. Drury's ruthlessness has caught up to him and they've quit on him. It's so obvious. This team isn't this bad.
Goodrow sucked other than somehow getting lucky in the playoffs, they are supposed to be professionals not cry over some scrub getting traded

I am blaming all our losses on those awful fan commercials. I think our entire downfall is because of them.

I mean, what player would want to play for fans like the idiot singing. its embarrassing for an athlete that this is the fans in the stands

We need to do better. Bring back Bobby Granger

Man, these people are getting paid millions. Literally the LEAST they should do is give effort. If you get paid millions but your overpaid teammate is waived and you give up. f*** you, go follow your overpaid teammate to San Jose.

You guys are pretty funny, though. At least you’ve kept good spirits these last few weeks. I’ve been looking at your schedule and rankings, and you’re still in great shape.

I have faith in this Rangers team. I really think you’re going to turn the corner soon. I know it’s not much coming from a random Canucks fan, but I thought I’d share anyway—haha.

I’ll let you guys be. Good luck the rest of the way
Thanks for the kind words, you’re welcome here any time. But don’t you dare say this team is in great shape. They f***ing suck.

But seriously, the rangers have been surviving off of elite goaltending and special teams for too long, this team is shit at 5v5 and have been for a decade. There is a much needed change in process and that starts with changing the personnel on the ice.

Not that their defensive game was ever all that great, but after Vancouver they straight stopped trying to defend the neutral zone as a squad. It's one of the weirdest things I've ever seen.

I take a lot of issue that guys who have played competitive ice hockey for 20 f***ing years are suddenly bad because Phil Housley isn't giving them enough instruction on how to defend the slot.

I haven’t seen a Ranger IN the neutral zone for the past 4 weeks. You have two forwards deep in the O-zone after losing a puck battle, and one F and 2 D already sinking below their own blue line, getting sliced like hot butter.
