I'm going to go on a limb and say there's not going to be much competition for Zucker in Iowa.
Fletcher likes to do this. He did it with Stoner and somebody else (Scandella? Prosser?).2nd year is a one-way deal. Interesting.

Gives flexibility to the team. Money to the player.
Not a terribly big fan of giving 1 way deals on the premise that he should be ready for next year. Make him earn his spot before he gets the 1 way deal.
With increased competition for playing time from Karanen, Mitchell, Brassart, etc. Make them earn the spot.
But what can you do.
Capgeek recently posted Zucker and Blum.
900,250 for Zucker (850,500 the first year then 950,00)
