On the wake of two pre-season losses, many here see blood.

Jarn Cracker Barrel will get his medicine, be blamed for losing these two games, blamed for the salary cap situation, and for Matthews' injury.

Keep him until the deadline then move his salary out when a move is made. He is the classic get you to the playoffs but not help you in the playoffs type player.
He is not the only player on the edges that is going to get moved. Him being injured definately helps with the roster crunch if he is out long. Right now the Leafs have Minten, and Dewar's salaries they can LTIR add in Jarnkok and that gives them 3 million in space they can use.

Doubt it.
Especially with 2PP and spot duty on a line with Pacioretty-Tavares when the game calls for it.

It’s obvious by the number of PTOs and vets on the bubble that teams are further expanding the 4th line role with more youth/skill.

He can be much much more than a 4th line guy.

An injury prone utility guy with a low offensive ceiling and a healthy salary isn’t really a guy you want to keep around.

Then look at his playoff performances. Consistently irrelevant.
