The same issue with young Goldobin whose NHL career was ruined by Travis Green. It was so obvious that, apart from Pettersson, Goldobin was the most skilful player on the team. Unfortunately, every time Canucks lost, and it happened a lot, Goldobin was either scratched or demoted to the fourth line. Needless to say, he returned to KHL and he is still producing decent numbers

Vancouver, Florida, Pittsburgh all gave up on Jared. In now going into his 10th NHL season, he's finally broken out with 40 goals, 70 points last year. Is he a late bloomer? A legit 40 goal scorer now?
Pittsburgh didn't "Give up" on Jared. He was a great player there and a well-liked and respected part of the team. They were simply in a shitty contract situation with too many NMC's and Centers that were being protected.

Wasn't happy when Dubas didn't protect him over some of the other stiffs. Showed what he could do in Seattle with a bigger role. Good for him.
