Exactly. Manning has been better the past several games while Seabrook has looked like he’s ready for the ECHL. Keep the Dog around!!

You forget that Manning's "better" is still worse than any other NHL defenseman on a roster. And that includes Seabs, IMO.

That team is gutted right now. Transitional year for Rockford. All of the Hawks' talent, for the most part, is in the NHL, juniors, or the NCAA. Manning isn't going to make a bit of difference.
Not really. Only in forward. They're still well stocked on D even with Forsling and Dahlstrom up. If Ruuta clears that's nice because strength to the RD allowing less swapping RD play for the Hilman, Carlsson, Tuulola, and Gilbert.

Moore is too long term but the de Haan deal is great

4 years for 27 yr old 2nd pairing defender at that price is not bad and he would have been good fit here
