Got to love Kessel.

Is he talkative and outgoing? no.

But when the crowd cheered for him, that little shy smile he gave. He loves the crowd, and seems just like a quiet guy who does enjoy the recognition.

That ball operation might have something to do with his behaviour. An operation like that ball situation combined to his persona might do that there.
