There is a difference between "has a good chance" and "almost always scores that" or "scores that 9/10 times" or "won't miss from there."

Get it? Fact is that the shootout gives us easily trackable statistics for how players do all alone against goalies. Pominville scores on a bit more than 1/3 of his shootout attempts.
