Great to see a 28-year-old heart-and-soul guy getting a crack at the NHL.

Anyone here fill me in on what kind of game he plays? Clearly he has a decent nose for the net but is he quick/physical etc...? Thanks

Should slot well on the 3rd line and Mac will drop back to the 4th and slide into Thorty's spot.

He's Providence's best player this season imo.

39 games played and his stat line is:

21 goals 9 assists 30 points +5 31 penalty minutes

very happy for him- watch him a lot in Providence and he's just a good player atleast at that level. His hockey IQ has to be very high

We all should hope to meet goals and realize dreams- I'll make a wild guess and say this was near the top of his list

Or does CB draw back in? My guess would be MacD slides to 4RW and CB back to his 3LW. Or if its Tardif in Paille at 3LW, MacD 4LW, and Tardif at 4RW

Be interesting how things shape out. My guess is they will try Tardiff on the third so there won't be two newbies on the fourth line.

Sad to see Thornton down though. I worry about Bergeron too. At least after the leafs they will get a chance to rest and breath.

Good for him! Let's see how he fills in. Should mention he's a pretty tough guy is well (not afraid to drop em). His stats this year are surprsing, but great to see.

Tardiff fits the 3rd line better. His build is similar to Pouliot's: 6' 207lbs. Pouliot is 6'3 198. He'll take the LW spot, Kelly will be at RW and Pevs will center them.

Mac will slot on the 4th line where he's filled in for Thorty before.

I don't think CB48 will be back in the lineup for the foreseeable future.

Does he play left or right wing?

I am curious to see if they keep McDermid or put Bourque back in with Tardiff on the 4th. Seems like his stats make him more likely to slot in on the 3rd than the 4th but haven't seen him play and not sure what the front office is thinking.

Not pumped that this likely means Thorts is out for a bit. I'm think Lane stays in against the leafs and Tardif comes in on the 3rd line.

glad to see him earn his shot .. and the fact that the bruins rewarded his good play.. pretty sure he got called up last year , on an emergency basis, but didnt actually get to play .. has anyone heard updates on caron's timetable yet.. im a caron believer and feel like hes a really good complimentary player for pevs and kelly .. another question , did caron play on the same line as bourque in providence? i went to the game when they played the monarchs early in the season and i believe he did but cant remember

Nose for the net is an apt phrase. I've seen him play a few times and going to the net and banging away is what he does best. That's how he's scored most of his goals.
