We all know thr Leafs are looking for a 3rd line center, but with Jani Hakanpaa not available and not likely to ever be available you have to assume they are also looking for a D man.
We also know that Treliving prefers players with term or players he thinks he can keep.
Personally I think there will be a deal with Seattle and I think 2 of Olesiak, Tanev and Groude end up in Toronto.
Yes I'm aware Groude is hurt but from what I've read it's only 5-7 weeks which brings us to mid-late March.
I want to focus on Olesiak because I think he's the most likely because he's the one with term on his deal and again we know Brad wants players with term.
According to Puck pedia the Leafs have 3.4 million in cap space.
Cap wages has them at about 3.8 million so fitting in Olesiak wouldn't be that difficult to do, you would need to send back a little bit of money but not a ton.
If Seattle retains the Leafs wouldn't have to send back any money.
I think these 2 teams make a deal.
