This is a borderline minor that is partially the fault of a dangerous play by Carlo to make a near full stop at the red line. Certainly not a major or a suspension. It looks worse than it is because Carlo is a big boy and Benn always hits hard.

He received a penalty for the boarding, and then fought the biggest guy the opposition has for his insouciance. Carlo seems OK. Maybe give Benn a game, if you like, but I'd consider that bill paid in full.

If there was a bad injury, or no call, or no fight, then I might feel differently. Yet you can tick off all three on the list. To me, this is the officiating and the code both ensuring there is restitution in the moment. I think it's over.
