Voracek is obsessed with him. Doing some reading, looks like Voracek reads through Flyers GDT's and has been calling out dead head since 2018

Just some GDT posts from 2018 that pissed Voracek off:

"Voracek gets worse each year, he either can't or won't shoot, and it hurts the two young players on his line and it hurts the PP"

"Just pointing out that Voracek has the worst advanced stats of any player, so he should be "called out" as a terrible veteran."

"Colorado is really quick on the attack, they're gonna make a lot of defensemen look bad, but what cost the Flyers this game was the inability of our top skill players to finish in the offensive zone, Giroux, Konency and Ghost blew a bunch of chances, but the worst offender was Voracek, who looked like dog crap. Colorado is an awful defensive team, you have to take advantage of the scoring chances they give you."

THREAD OF THE YEAR

OMG this is so funny!

I don't want him on the Leafs because of his cap hit and performance, but it would be sooooo funny if he were traded to the Leafs, Habs, Jets etc and had to endure the media circus here in Canada.

He doesn't have an NTC.

Voracek and Darryl Sutter would make Flames pressers instantly entertaining, particularly if he's not performing on the ice.

He could perform on Twitter instead!

Now that that someone else is off Twitter, Voracek in the right environment could be the next best thing!

I love how the old trope that leafs fans will make every topic somehow about their team is true.

Would be fun if real players could challenge posters more often, it would make the discussions a lot more honest and grounded.

I wish the GMs and coaches read this board rather than the players
I'm pretty sure if there would be someone with an eternity of free time available that could go through all the threads and gather all the data it would still be a net victory for the GM's and NHL coaches.

Who would win an argument?

A forum expert with 130 IQ (e.g. DearDiary) with many years of destroying people with facts and logic.
Or an athlete (failed intellectual e.g. Voracek) who swings a stick around like cavemen did thousands of years ago

The idea of my post was not even about who would win the argument, it was more about the total disrespect of a lot of posters when talking about those players.

Nothing wrong with healthy criticism, but often it's excessive and personal for no logical reason.

If there would be feedback I do believe they would think twice before spewing nonsense the next time.

Peace!

Jake would win the argument, because the forum expert, e.g. DearDiary, is actually well below on him on the social and financial food chain, which would inevitably express itself in the level of confidence when facing the adversary, albeit only verbally.

This guy is used to talking to media. He would destroy you and you would be grateful for that, asking for an autograph in the aftermath.

There's no point in this "hurr I'd go beat him up" stuff. I think many underestimate the nuisance of the possible administrative/medical work afterwards. It's really not worth it unless very desperate to receive damages or settlement money.
