I've learned today that, in Czechia, the origin of the last name "Dobes" comes from the profession of someone that determined the value of a thing on the market.

Also, the first name "Jakub" also means "One who is a carrier of things".

I don't watch Laval, so this was the first time I saw him play. He is a big man who moves well in the net, and his ability to play the puck is very impressive.
He’s toolsy as hell. Raw upside of a starter.
Don’t know if he refines his game to get there but there’s lots to like. Sneakily one of our more underrated prospects I think

He was one of the reasons to tune in, at least for me. Very athletic despite being huge. I enjoy how much he battles too. He's mentally the opposite of Primeau. Really impressive progression since last year. I'm wary of bringing in young goaltenders too soon, but if he can handle he'll be an upgrade on Fourmeau.

I do watch Laval and they haven't been winning many game lately when he's not playing.
I'm convinced he's going to be better than Montembault he just is.
If they keep him up it better damn well be to split the games down the middle.
