I always liked Mike "Ribbed" Condon.....for our opponent's pleasureI had forgotten about Mike "Latex" Condon.

Caufield??Yeah we can find vezina goalies in a trash can but can't get a star scorer to save our lives. Meanwhile in Toronto/Philadelphia...
Habs will have a 40 goal scorer and two 80 point players for the first time in decades.Caufield??
The Habs have always found the best goalies out of nowhere, our history proves it. If we could only have that luck translate itself at the center ice position......It's so funny that there's these teams that have been lost in the woods for like 30 years trying to find goalies and we find a legitimate top 10-15 goalie in the sport on waivers and have Dobes start like this.
By the way, Dobes has a mental coach. Pete Fry Hockey Mindset Training.
That explains to me why Dobes has a great mental as a goalie.
I encourage all of our Baby Habs to have a mental coach.
Met him once, chill guy.I had forgotten about Mike "Latex" Condon.
I immediately think of Vasy, but hey not bad companyThe Habs have always found the best goalies out of nowhere, our history proves it. If we could only have that luck translate itself at the center ice position......
I love what I am watching in Dobes and I am trying to restrain myself, I am guilty of being way too high or way too low in what I see in players but he is goddamn impressive and someday I would love to see him skate around the ice with a cup over his head. I don't think I ever saw a goalie that big move so quickly across the crease and still be such a big target while doing it.
Pricer moved fast but often gave up the top of the net when doing so but not this kid. He moves like those tabletop hockey goalies of my youth lol. He stands tall while rocketing across the crease and I wish he could play every game.
He is wearing a bandana all day long.Is Monty sweating?
Montembault has also been pretty solid and you don t want to out all the pressure on a rookie if you don t need to. It s 4 games in 6 days from today onwards so they should split the games 50/50 anywaysDobes should be the new #1 goalie going forward if we wanna make the playoffs
Did anyone expect this guy to come in and be this dominant? He's like Halak out there. Fowler, Monty and Dobes? Something has gotta give, and it's a nice spot to be in. He looks so damn calm out there, and big. I know he may come down to earth , and maybe the team is just playing that much better in front of our goalies.. but wow!

If Dobes becomes a solid #1 imagine the return for Jacob Fowler....Fowler can spend two years in the AHL with a few call ups. Miller and Volokhin might join him.
He's a goalie prospect, so a late 1st?If Dobes becomes a solid #1 imagine the return for Jacob Fowler....
I think he puts up Askarov numbers in the AHL and becomes a sought after commodity. Don't get me wrong I am in no way saying he isn't Montreal's future #1, I am saying that if Dobes becomes a great #1 you have to look at what Fowler can bring you. It is nice to have these riches. He's a goalie prospect, so a late 1st?
I dream more of an Ullmark/Swayman type combo. If Dobes becomes a solid #1 imagine the return for Jacob Fowler....
That's what you need in today's NHL. All the other stuff said about trading him is just noise. Everyone wants to trade everybody on this board.I dream more of an Ullmark/Swayman type combo.

More like 2 Halaks, both bargain goalies lolHalak / Price all over again lol

Some journalist wrote it down, but I don't remember which one or the exact quote. It had something to do with Dobes being Czech.Did anyone understand what was Slaf yelling at Dobes during his post game interview? He was laughing pretty hard.
