Nice podium reveal, this guy is out of here! Good riddance to the carnivore

This was clearest day, this guy hates it here. He’s not welcome.
Yeah clearly something is not working but I don’t think he messed anything up in the lockeroom.

I’m sure tkatchuk looked at him and asked him why he’s soft as butter being the size he is.

And I’m also sure he asked tkatchuk why he’s hanging out at the other teams blue line

Yeah, with a response like that, peace.

His play reflected that response.

Gone before the draft, but I do not think he's going to return much.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it a 2nd day pick + B prospect type deal

I have a bad feeling you're right but defensemen who can score 12-18 goals a year usually carry some good value. He's got a really manageable cap hit too. If some team loses in the first round with a struggling PP I could see him getting decent interest.

We'll see.

I think we can probably get a late first for him but not expecting much more.

Every time we’ve gone big game hunting in the Dorion era it has come back to bite us in the ass

Duchene - 118 games with Ottawa
Debrincat - 82 games with Ottawa
Chychrun - 94 games with Ottawa so far

Anyone care to cumulate everything we gave up for them?

who can blame him though?

there is a clique in the dressing room, they don't handle criticism well, and the team loses a lot, he has to play second fiddle to Chabot when he is likely better than him offensively.

AND Sanderson is clearly better than both.

better for his career that he leaves, so really who can blame him.

The guy came here from Arizona and wanted to make the playoffs or be competitive. I bet he was shocked at the team competitiveness and how lazy the team is.

We didn't discuss an extension with him and he doesn't seem to want to stay, so why keep him past the deadline?

Missed opportunity to maximize his value. Now we'll be very fortunate to get a DeBrincat type return for him.
