It would be surprising. They just resigned Walman and Maata and have Chiarot on the left side as well with Edvinsson and Wallinder both LHD as their top prospects.Detroit in on Chychrun now?

Dump Chiarot on Arizona (obviously the Wings would have to add even more than the Coyotes already want) as part of the trade? IDK.Well they just re-signed Maatta and Walman on their left-side for the next couple years and they have Chariot.

Revisit a trade at the draft when more teams may inquire.
Don't sleep on St. Louis. It really just seems like Pittsburgh is the only team left in on Chychrun at this point, right?
none of the above. You are obviously very young or didn’t follow the nhl very closely.
Detroit in on Chychrun now?
Jets?It really just seems like Pittsburgh is the only team left in on Chychrun at this point, right?
Ottawa kinda makes sense tooOne of the biggest fumbles this year for sure. They surely had lots of offers for him and sat on their hand too long now he’s worth significantly less.
There’s only like 1-2 teams who he even really fits in on that haven’t made major moves yet. A trade to Buffalo makes sense but they seem to be patiently building and keeping pace.
If he’s not moved by the deadline for a good return, this is a massive failure and an embarrassment to the team who’s faced countless of those in the past.
Jets?
Patience is key young man. People said the same about Joe Sakic when he held out on trading Duchene. How did that turn out?One of the biggest fumbles this year for sure. They surely had lots of offers for him and sat on their hand too long now he’s worth significantly less.

Have the Jets been tied to Chychrun? I thought it was only Pittsburgh and St. Louis left of teams who have been clearly tied to Chychrun.
All of the other big favorites from before (Boston, Washington, Carolina and LA) have traded for alternatives at this point.
Wasn't it reported yesterday that one of those teams was Edmonton and that they had a deal but then Armstrong asked for more which caused them to go after Ekholm.During one of the intermissions of the CBJ/BUF game last night, Emily Kaplan straight up said that Armstrong has received offers from 2 different teams that meet his reported asking price.......but that he's now holding out to get the absolute most possible.
We'll see if she's right or not. But apparently he has gotten what he wants, but now wants more if possible. If that's the case, we'll hear about a trade roughly 3:15 PM ET tomorrow (as in, league office gets it at 2:59).
Hurricanes are still stacked with picks. Them getting Gostisbehere doesn’t impact interest in Chychrun. It really just seems like Pittsburgh is the only team left in on Chychrun at this point, right?
friedman has also mentioned the past 2 days that he thinks the jets have been in on him

Another factor is his NTC. I would have to not include AZ.Dump Chiarot on Arizona (obviously the Wings would have to add even more than the Coyotes already want) as part of the trade? IDK.
f*** it, throw in hagg and lindstrom as "sweetners"Dump Chiarot on Arizona (obviously the Wings would have to add even more than the Coyotes already want) as part of the trade? IDK.
