Makes me wonder what Sigalet advised him versus what Baumgartner did.

If Sigalet's advice is that helpful, I think it would be wise for the other Senators defensemen to consult with Sigalet too; some of them could definitely use his help (e.g., Hamonic, Matinpalo, Kleven).

He's 10th in the NHL now in points by a defenseman, and how many of the guys above him are also in their team's shutdown pair, drawing the toughest assignments every night?

In the top 10, only Hutson is younger, and he's certainly not getting the tough jobs.

The next seven years at eight mil per should be one of the highest value contracts in the league.
