He has all the attributes of a winner.
Does he whine as much as the young Crosby?

Okily dokily.

I think you should be a fan of the Harlem Globetrotters as you are guaranteed a great time and wins. I don’t think the Senators are good for your health.
Saw the Globetrotters once when I was a kid. Hokey Pokey! Meadowlark Lemon was there !

Damn a bigger stronger faster even more confident Sanderson is going to be nuts.
He certainly has the skating skill, defensive acumen, passing, on-ice intelligence. The maturation, increase in strength and experience is going to be great to observe next season. I expect the same from Stutzle. Greig is coming along too.

We also need the team to play a more responsible defensive game, reduce goals against, and get into the playoffs.

That's definitely the biggest thing. That and goaltending.

This team isn't super deep, so the top players have to be the top players, and nowhere is that more important than the number one defenseman. Argument can be made for the top center as well.

They had less high danger chances than the Bruins so defensively, it was our goaltending that was the main torpedo of the season. This could be a great season

I feel like we had less high danger chances than the Bruins because teams knew they could fire pucks up from the blueline with no screens in on Korpisalo and there was a decent chance they'd go in. When we've got an abysmal goalie then there's really no incentive to work super hard for scoring chances, just pepper shots from anywhere and the bum would probably let some squeeze by.

We probably talk about him enough.

Or do we?

Every single time he's on the ice, the temperature of the game chances, whether he's reading plays at elite levels, gap control, break out passes, offensive zone maturity. Everything.

And it's not like he gets easy matchups lol
Yea he's an incredibly smart hockey player. You get a calming feeling whenever he's on the ice controlling the puck and play.

Is the most valuable Senator and will be for the foreseeable future.

7 points in 5 games, as well. 2nd in D scoring behind Makar.

He is evolving so quickly now.
I wanna see some even strength points.

But he absolutely a top d man in this league even if he’s putting up 50 a year. If he starts putting up 80??

The biggest thing about Sanderson is how, by all accounts, he is off the ice.

It sounds like he's one of those robotic super serious people that is obsessed with perfecting everything about his game, his diet, his workouts, etc. Sounds like he doesn't even drink. People like that just find a way to get better and better.

Remember when the knock from the main board experts was he didn’t score enough to warrant his new contract? LOL. Morons.

With what I've seen so far this season.

We are now in Norris trophy territory for Sanderson given any year.

He is that special. He really can do it all.

I was hesitant to predict he'd be in the conversation this year, but if he continues to play as he has early this season, he should be considered a favourite. Can't wait to see him steal the show at the Four Nations as well.

I haven't been so high on a Sens player since a young Marian Hossa.

Edit: perhaps peak Karlsson.
