Everytime Bergevin resigning someone, you know we were gonna get terrible value (Petry, Gallagher, Armia, Anderson- sign and trade).

That was not been the case with Hughes. He hasn't given out any anchor type of contracts llike Bergevin. It's truly night and day.

There is always one GM who is gonna offer a lot of money to someone. Its why I think free agency is a trap and really isn't a good way to build a team. Just look at how all of Nashville's moves panned out.
