Neither would the Habs. Barron is likely going to be similar to Bouchard.Edmonton wouldn’t
Not a chance. HuGo is not interested in middling picks and the the last retention spot will be to aquirea 1st or equivalent. Allen does not need to be moved. We can give you Allen with retention for middling picks I assume... doubt management would do it though.
Erik Karlsson feels his pain.......lolBouchard is the single cause of many goals against. He’s a very good offensive dman and an absolute travesty defensively. And that’s being kind.
Becaue they don't even have a goaltender that good. Why would Edmonton want 3 mediocre/garbage goaltenders?

I was thinking the same until I saw another poster then suggest Allen for a 1st from Edmonton. Now that’s a joke.I hope this thread is a joke
By middling pick, I was thinking 2nd + 3rd or 2nd + 4th, but you might not be wrong.Neither would the Habs. Barron is likely going to be similar to Bouchard.

Both are jokes yes. Because Habs not trading Allen. He has a .930% save Percentage playing behind youngest defense in leagueI was thinking the same until I saw another poster then suggest Allen for a 1st from Edmonton. Now that’s a joke.
Well, at least we both agree on the joke part of it…just for different reasons. Both are jokes yes. Because Habs not trading Allen. He has a .930% save Percentage playing behind youngest defense in league
Habs not trading veterans for draft picks as long as they in playoff picture. What's a draft pick going to do?Well, at least we both agree on the joke part of it…just for different reasons.
I’m not suggesting they trade him. I’m saying it’s a joke for someone to have proposed him fetching a 1st.Habs not trading veterans for draft picks as long as they in playoff picture. What's a draft pick going to do?
I wouldn’t give up a first for Allen at 100% retained.Allen even retained isn’t returning a first
The answer to the question is that Bouchard is absolute trash defensively. Not sure they really would be better this year with Allen in net. +- is just such a silly stat in general
that gives the oilers 3 garbage goaliesEdmonton would like to upgrade their goaltending position and Habs need d-men with experience (Savard and Matheson are injured, young d-men in AHL aren't ready).
Both contracts have the same length. Habs can retain on Allen if needed.
Thoughts ?
Naw but I would do Allen + Barron or Kovacevic for Bouchard
Honestly how on earth does Bouchard have 8 points in 7 games and he is still a -8
Not really. Edmonton has been pretty bad to start this year.
They have Reinbacher, Mailloux and Hutson all coming and are already playing like 4 sophomores. Their 'vets' are Kovacevic and Matheson.
We can give you Allen with retention for middling picks I assume... doubt management would do it though.
Between the 3, they'd have around 11million in salary tied up. Doesn't seem ideal
I wouldn’t give up a first for Allen at 100% retained.
We need Ceci a hell of a lot more than we need a third mediocre goalie.
So , if hes bordeline an ahler , he's an upgrade to both of Oilers goalies. Why would Edmonton go for Allen if they're trying to upgrade? He's a borderline AHLer, at best a 2B at this point, 4 hot games doesn't change that.
