Well, it's probably why Dobes gets most of the strart in net and they use guy's like Mailloux, Barron, Heineimen, Farrel, Roy when he was with them, Simoneau, Davidson before they where injured alot on the PP, not to mention that Reiny yesterday was use on the PK right from the start........are you watching their games, just asking

Dont know if true that SD are giving their big minutes to their vets or if they're even about winning (they are 28th in the league).......but they are the 2nd youngest team in the league and we are 5th
On D sure, but you listed 3 forwards, three of which missed chunks of the season to injury or call up. In that time guys like Mysak, Davidson, Kidney, etc never got top six promotions. Stephens and Maillet never got demoted out of the top 6 despite bad years, especially early on.

I also used past tense because Laval shifted their usage halfway through the year when they were doing horribly. A lot of the younger guys started getting bigger roles including Mysak, who produced as a top 6 player when he was actually given top 9 minutes and unsurprisingly didn't produce at all on the fourth. Same with Kidney and Davidson.

San Diego give minutes to vets because they don't have a lot of young notable forwards available. They just happen to suck at the same time because their overall roster is terrible.

Laval has a lot of centers playing the wing. Doubt Mysak would have a chance here. Plus Beck and Kapanen be here next fall.
