Basically nothing.
Depending on the team, he might return anywhere from a 3rd to a 5th.

He has more seasons with a sub .900 SV% than seasons over it, and only put up a .915 last year, so it's not like he set the world on fire. I'd say a 3rd or 4th, but it makes no sense for Vancouver to move him for that

More recent seasons hold more weight than his early seasons, especially given his age. Shows he's still developing and improving. Markstrom has all the tools and potential to be a #1, Canucks should hold onto him.

2 of his last 3 seasons were sub .900 actually. He was able to get it together last year at a 1b level, but he's got a lot more to prove

But those seasons include a sample size of 4 and 3 NHL games, so it's ridiculous to infer much from such a small sample. I just mean generally speaking with regard to his whole career (especially his first few seasons in Florida - not giving them much weight). Once he was eased into the NHL with a year in the AHL and being the team MVP of the Comets on an impressive playoff run, and having spent time with Cloutier and Rollison tweaking his game, he's basically a completely different goalie now. His transformation has been really exciting and rewarding to watch as a Canucks fan.

I think it's realistic to expect him to become an average NHL starter. Maybe a Niemi-esque goalie. But I truly believe his ceiling (if he is able to reach it) is similar to Ben Bishop.
