Cooley is taller than Newhook, and Slafkovsky is soft as butter anyway. Wouldn’t be that different than our current one.

Slafkovsky wins all kinds of board battles for Suzuki & Caufield. He also leads the team in hits. He's at 193 hits, which is #1 on our team & 26th OA in NHL for forwards.

At 20 years old, he's not being protected but is playing against number 1 lines & D.

By comparison, Suzuki at 20 was being protected at who he was on the ice against. He was given match-ups better for him.

Slafkovsky has had an up & down season for sure, but he's still improving and we need him.
