No, I think Jackets beat Caps.

We might beat them too if Thompson isn't ready to play. The Caps PR on his injury was that he was going to "miss a little bit of time."

One of the reasons why Vegas traded him was because they felt he was never available when they needed him. We'll see what happens there.

They also may not have Protas. He was cut by a skate to his foot. He is week to week.

Regardless, I will be cheering for Columbus if that series happens. I think they can win.

I don't get the argument that Michkov would have been redundant. He doesn't play like Caufield at all. He's a lot more like Suzuki offensively, but on the wing. He controls the play with his IQ and anticipation.
