Flyers have become a smallish team. Players 5'10 or smaller: Brink, Pelletier, Konecny, Michkov, and Andrae.

I think their fans want to draft Hagens too. Luchanko isn't that big either.

They have some speed & are at least competing. Something Washington wasn't doing.

I don't get the argument that Michkov would have been redundant. He doesn't play like Caufield at all. He's a lot more like Suzuki offensively, but on the wing. He controls the play with his IQ and anticipation.

Great first period for what the Habs need... not too much of anything going on for Columbus... Philly looking fast and passing / breaking out better than Columbus... Columbus really only had one scary sequence in the final minute.. but their goalie looks dialed..

Anyway, lets hope they give us 2 more periods of the exact same

I suddenly got a very calm feeling about this game just before it started and got a gut feeling Philly will win... not that my gut feelings mean much of anything, but God I hope I am right! lol

Yes, everything points to that. I'm just speaking in terms of arguments I've read. I feel a "thinking" kind of player is a good piece on both lines of the top 6. Monahan brought that last year and Demidov clearly does as well.
