We all know the Canes are going to come hard at us... they hate us thanks to Bozo and his offer sheet. If the Jerks have a chance to f*** us out of the playoffs, they're going to do all they can to do it.

The Habs f***ed themselves. Shrimp ass Saint-Louis f***ed us all.

He got us here. This team was never expected to be holding down a playoff spot with 1 game left to go.

People need to reality check and stop amplifying expectations that weren't present a month ago.

Sadly I so think the Jackets will mop the floor with the Flyers and their .880 goalies :eyeroll:

A Flyers win would complety mess their draft as well. From 4~6overall to 8~9.

I'd argue that Suzuki and Hutson (and the goalies to some extent) have gotten the Habs where they are and now that they are out of steam the team can't do anything.

To me, it doesn't matter what the situation was 1 month ago. They were 8 pts up and only needed 1 RW in 4 games to clinch. I don't know why your expectations shouldn't be to make the playoffs at that point.

They were also last in the league heading into December. Just picking an arbitrary point and declaring it bad or good isn't good discourse.

I want them to make the playoffs. The fact that they have battled to this point is a pro for the coaching staff. Them going 6-2-2 in their last 10 to secure it certainly isn't a bad look at all. It's just that Columbus is also on a hot streak.

Columbus could lose a pts or win in ot tonight, but the real prediction is a lose in their final game against the isle, been saying it for some time now, for them to be so close yet to lose in their final game:popcorn:

According to many on this board, habs are out of the playoffs right now.

According to moneypuck, we have 93% chances to be in.

It would have been nice to clinch, and if we don't make it, it will be a choke job and an amazing run by Columbus, but to believe it's a foregone conclusion is madness.

This is what I wrote in Playoff Positivity thread:

Like Chicago, Flyers are playing hard & having fun. They're 5-3-2 in last 10 & and are slightly above .500 at home. Since kicking Torts to the curb, Flyers have actually gone 5-1-1 and have won their last 4 home games.

Columbus is still well below .500 on the road (13-23-4). They've gone 3-7-0 in their last 10 road games. With the exception of the Washington game on Sunday, the majority of their winning streak has been at home. The Caps out played Columbus on Sunday, but Lindgren has decided to shit the bed late for Washington, while Columbus got excellent net minding from Greaves.

A win in Philadelphia is definitely not a sure thing for Columbus. If the game is tied late, Columbus will have to strongly consider pulling the goalie like Philadelphia was forced to last season.

If this game goes to OT, Montreal clinches.
Philly wins tonight!! Book it!
