Ugh, I think it was bad taste for the front office marketing team to mail out a "Don't miss out on the opportunity to guarantee tickets for the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs by purchasing a 2025-26 season ticket plan!" Or at least bad juju or karma to use such a slim chance for marketing of season tickets for next year...

Looking ahead until Thursday. If everything goes our way and we beat the Flyers and the Canes beat Montreal, that Thursday game against the Isles will be for all the marbles for the 8 seed. ESPN is showing two games, the Flames and the Kings for the 8 seed in the west and a game pitting the Pens and the Caps. I'm aware of the star power with Crosby and Ovi, but that game is meaningless while our game has everything riding on it. The CBJ in the eyes of the suits making these decisions just doesn't have the same star power and our game at least as of right now won't be shown. Too bad.

Edit: I remember a whole bunch of years ago back when I was still a Browns fan (before the Deshaun Watson era) the Browns were on the verge of the playoffs and needed the Colts to beat someone else (maybe Tennessee) in the last game of the season. The Colts had already locked in their playoff spot and rested Manning and some other players. Colts lost, Browns missed the playoffs, I put some bad juju on the Colts and they lost in the first round (that's how I remember it).

If we win tonight and Carolina loses tomorrow they are getting my bad juju all over their asses.
