First period was meh, second was pretty brutal but third was excellent. They should have won in regulation.

Even without the goals it’s just a joy watching Laf out there. Excited to see the advanced stats for him, Tro and Panarin. They were dynamite tonight.

Was a weird game it felt like...Columbus looked to me like they were heavy on the "clog the middle of the ice in front of the net" so the Rangers couldn't get a lot of good looks off the cycle. They started getting chances off the rush instead (which is good) but then got a little too loose and started letting Columbus get behind them way too often. Kind of the classic "press too hard to start the transition and leave the puck behind and give the other team chances"
Obviously settled down in the third and great job to just get pucks through the mess of Columbus players trying to block it all game at that point

Zibanejad just needs to shoot the damn puck. He's got no confidence inhis shot right now and needs to stop overthinking it and just let it rip
