Basically looking to re-tool for next season, no rush on anyone but Greenway.

1. Quinn- almost .5 ppg with limited time, just kinda the least impressive youngster to me. Feels like there should be more there, but I don’t see much beyond a fantastic shot. Just being honest.
2. Cozens- He’s a player, he just needs his confidence back. Could be easier to make that happen elsewhere is all.
3. Greenway- Would prefer to re-sign, but he’s UFA otherwise.
4. Additionally, all draft picks are available to make somethin happen.

Needs: a youngish 2C and an RD. Jokiharju or Samuelsson could be moved to balance that out for both teams.

Any offers? Feels like it’s gonna be a boring deadline, just wondering what we could do if we ever did anything (Bryam for Mitts has worked out decently so far, at least).

Nucks badly need a C what you want for Cozens? Not looking at moving Pettersson either would prefer to get a 2C to replace the gaping hole left by Miller

Would Hronek get it done

I don’t see the appeal in moving Cozens unless we’re either packaging him to upgrade at 2C or getting a rock solid top 4 defensive RHD. Hronek isn’t the right type of player we need.

How does Greenway look playing third wheel on a line with top forwards?

I could see him being a target for the Devils to add to that group of Mercer, Noesen, Palat, Tatar, and Haula that they move up and down to compliment Hughes, Bratt, Hischier, and Meier.

He typically plays mid-lineup, which the way the Sabres have been this year doesn't usually equate to top forwards.

Played a period with Tuch and Thompson last night though on what might be one of the biggest "top 6" lines ever assembled and looked good there.

From what I've seen over the past 2 years, he can play the dirty work role with skill guys quite nicely, if you aren't expecting him to light things up.
