I don’t know if I’m going to end up saying this right…but if they get Rossi it’s funny because I feel like they’ll reap the benefit from fans on their own choice last year. So many wanted Rossi and were bummed when they passed on him. If they had taken him and a package was headed by Quinn from Minnesota I don’t think it would get as positive a reaction.

If by close you mean they are from Boston and play in the same summer rec league, then yeah. But I think that's about the extent of it.

That and the fact that he's worked out with Hayes (among others) at the same place in the offseason since before his rookie year.

But yeah, definitely just a passing rec league thing.

Lots of smoke with Minnesota and the reports of Bill Guerin being all in lead me to speculate a trade with Minnesota may be closer than many realize. If he is not traded by tomorrow, I doubt he gets traded at all.

Not enough talk about Cal Addison. Drafted by Pittsburgh. Karmanos and Ventura both there when drafted. Right shot D. Doesn't hurt that he's good friends with Cozens.

I think we could see Addison, Boldy/Rossi, and a 1st.
