Miller is OK... watched the HFD game on Saturday night. He tries to do too much, but he's not quite enough just yet.
One day, he'll be a solid centerman.
Stepan Miller Brassard Moore doesn't sound too bad for center depth.... If Step can actually be a #1C... I'm quote doubtful

Brass is rfa tho and Moore only has a one year deal maybe he won't be back we don't know. But sorry Richie has to go no matter the scenario. So I could see miller next season in a third line role.
J.T's Toughness
I know for a fact J.T. Miller is a tough kid. He has showed spurts of his toughness. He is a very strong kid and I would like to see him have more of an edge to his game in the NHL. Thoughts?

i agree... Rangers need those type skill with an edge. Rangers are too damn passive at times.. its sad.. especially Nash. imagine if he had some grit to his game, but he does not want to bring that

At least he got a couple of good ones in there.
Reminded me of the time Dubi tried to fight Ryan Carter and got his ass handed to him. Probably concussed because he missed a month afterwards with a mysterious injury.

On balance, a good period by JT with a fantastic goal and mostly good play.
But WTF was he doing letting Lucic trap him down low with Klein? Pass him off to the defenseman and take Krejci.

He's got good size & good speed, lots of momentum coming up & down the ice when he's got the puck. I think he'll be a good one.
Its nice to have JT Miller back with the Rangers. I like him as a depth winger/center. He needs a bit of learning to do but learning progress well.
Did he get sent back down already? He is no longer listed on the roster that I viewed on blueshirtsunited.com
If so, that's a real bummer. Kid was playing hard and well.

Ah, if it's just a paper move so that he's eligible to be on the Hartford Wolfpack playoff roster I'm gravy. Fat chance that team makes a playoff push though.
