Player Discussion Ivan Demidov: Welcome to Montreal

I wouldn’t be against it. More experience and gets to know some of the guys that will be with the habs next year. I get it though and there’s the injury risk as well so I’m not mad about it
He graduated, Demidov will never play in the AHL. And there's a clause in the contract mandating that he can't be sent there. It's NHL or KHL for him

No points again today. MSL ruined him forever by playing him too darnit. He keeps ruining everyone even though they are clearly not winning the cup this year.

No idea what to expect next year myself.. Some are setting the bar pretty high.

He won’t be good at 5v5 for a while I don’t think and if he goes in a scoring slump he may have growing pains.

Maybe he comes back in September at 215 and all hairy, deep disturbing voice and all.

more experience the better. I don’t care if he graduated it’s just more time on smaller ice to get used to and more professional hockey. Either way I’m aware now that he can’t play in the AHL now. Pretty logical for a guy who can’t back check

Ok but nobody care about what you think. Demidov will never play in the AHL. He would destroy that league.

Funny your name, Caufield was putrid backchecking when he was 20 years old, Demidov is 19.

I watched all of Caufield's games that year in the NCAA. Demidov is on another level.

Most KHL arenas have NHL sized rinks. There's no adaptation for that.

I haven't read all 54 pages so apologies if this was answered earlier.

I would assume his ELC kicks in next year since he played less than 9 games?

Why would his ELC slide? Just enjoy the show, we're lucky to have him.

Does anyone know if he went back to Russia for the off season or if he's staying in mtl for a bit?

Delivered l!
