Adversity builds character and what Demidov is coming into is by definition diametrically opposite to what he's experienced in Petersburg. Imagine the motivation he has to come into the Bell Centre and get the building going, post Ovi goal record...god. I'm so pumped.

I think I would prefer Jake Evans before Newhook on a line with Laine-Demidov( still can’t believe I’m making line with Demidov). He would bring a better defensive presence and details oriented

I would keep him with Newhook for this season.
Demidov knows how to play with players that carry the puck into the Ozone and then don’t know what to do…he played with a bunch of those all season with SKA.
