Man things could get interesting if we could add Demidov and Kapanen to the roster down the stretch
It could...but it won't. Demidov isn't joining the habs this year. Kapanen though...sure. I have no doubt he will.Man things could get interesting if we could add Demidov and Kapanen to the roster down the stretch
I’ll never say never there. I get that’s it’s unlikely but there has to be a ton of mutual interest for that to happen. I just can’t imagine that there’s literally NOTHING to grease that wheelIt could...but it won't. Demidov isn't joining the habs this year. Kapanen though...sure. I have no doubt he will.
Just saw the highlight of the assist. I was expecting it to be obviously a fan but I think it might have been intentional as well. His wrist rotates and he opens the face of the blade before releasing changing the angle the puck comes off.

People still think he fanned on his 'kucherov goal' in the pre-season as wellJust saw the highlight of the assist. I don’t know. To me, Bedard with Demidov would be like McDavid with Draisaitl. A tier below, sure, but a duo that’s good enough to win games on their own. It seems to be a bit of a blunder.
and i think that is a mistake, you never skip the best player, not ever, it's insane. Montreal could have had Hughes, Brady, Dobson, Michkov etc. but they chose a C that was a reach in the top 12 and a dman with leg braces. I know i'm in the minority here, but you just don't pass on the BPA ever, unless its a dead heat and you can choose between a D or a forward. Even then it isn't certain you are going to do well, look at Buffalo with those two 'Can't miss blueliners' and how much balls they suck because they forgot to get a goalie at some point.Because of the salary cap, teams are more often (and really, always have) drafting for need because the earlier those players are drafted, the earlier they're expected to make the team and make an impact.
Both the Hawks and Habs looked at their team right now and where it was going to be in the close future and determined that both Lev & Reinbacher would be better "fit now" pieces than the other guys they might have drafted.
Looks like a fanned shot to me. His stick motion is clearly one of a shot at the net.Just saw the highlight of the assist. I get your overall point but in terms of the KK draft, we've been over this a ton but Brady was by far and away the most undesirable pick here. I guarantee you were around for it and I say it's pretty likely he wasn't your #1 choice that year.and i think that is a mistake, you never skip the best player, not ever, it's insane. He definitely shot this one. Clearly a set play that he fanned on and it worked out.Looks like a fanned shot to me. His stick motion is clearly one of a shot at the net.

You’re not in the minority for wanting Michkov lol come on. You’re in the minority for thinking Reinbacher’s a plug lol.and i think that is a mistake, you never skip the best player, not ever, it's insane. I mean, I don't think there's a single team that goes up there thinking we're going to pick a player we don't think is the best available at the time we're drafting.and i think that is a mistake, you never skip the best player, not ever, it's insane. Listen man, I lived through Lane Hutson thigh-gate and I know what I saw on this play.Looks like a fanned shot to me. His stick motion is clearly one of a shot at the net.
Darkest days in HFHabs history.Listen man, I lived through Lane Hutson thigh-gate and I know what I saw on this play.
he can develop that i think. Habs should hire Marc Andre bergeron. I never understood how he could slap so hard with his height and frame. I think if he can develop a snap shot he can be effective because his skating would allow him to shoot from closer than most dmen.If Hutson would have a great slap shot, he would get 90 + points every seasons.
